In situations where multiple family members have their own FamiliesWebsite.us sites, managing access to the extended family can become a chore. With the Family Website Gateway you can grant access to your family's site to extended family. In the same way they can extend their website to allow access from members of your site. When two sites linkup through the Gateway, a logon button appears on the Gateway screen, the logon button provides direct access to the partner site. 
In addition to accessing sites through the Gateway page, you can also logon directly to the partner site. This is done with your username, password and selecting your site from the Domain dropdown list. In the same fashion members of your partner site can logon to your site with their own username and password. This eliminates the need to maintain everyone's username and password on both sites.
